Its very choppy for me with the occasional error.
Update: Post debate it appeared most in the hall and online disagreed with the motion.
I watched most of the 2 hour + debate and there where strong arguments on both sides. Slaughterhouse angrily fell out half way through. There was a lot of focus on language and poetry for some reason but the panel was definitely well represented. Why didn't i have cool professor like Michael Eric Dyson when i was studying!
Hip-hop lives to fight another day.

From the 1989 album “Shade of Red”
Mix: Gas Face along with DJ Greengiant
Great mix showing how composer and producer Galt MacDermot has influenced hip-hop

MOS DUB - Reggae and Yasin Bey
DUB KWELI
This is an amazing mix I came across some time back. It mixes Talib Kweli lyrics with Dub reggae. It sounds clean like a studio album and came in 2010. Produced by Max Tannone, who also made a few other great mix/mashups, most notably one with Mos Def and more Dub reggae (my favorite, which I'll post too) .
Listen!

Talib Kweli @HMV Forum, London
Talib Kweli has been a king of New York hip-hop who has an expansive international audience for over fifteen years. Kweli’s work with Mos Def on 'Black Star' (1998) still stands as one of hip-hop’s premiere expressions of truth. On 'Train of Thought',Kweli teamed up with Hi-Tek to form Reflection Eternal, a virtuoso hip-hop duo that continues to wow audiences and critics alike. In 2007, Kweli and DJ/Producer/MC Madlib gave their fans 'Liberation' - originally released free on the internet - an album that was filled with their joint love of the music they make and the respect their fans give them.

“Debut jazz cafe show for legendary 90’s hip-hop group”
Das EFX is an American hip hop duo. It consists of emcees SKOOB & KRAZY DRAYZY, They rose to popularity in the early 1990s due to their affiliation with EPMD's Hit Squad. The duo gained critical and commercial fame with the release of their landmark debut album, Dead Serious, which highlighted their unusual rapping style which they nicknamed "sewage". Dead Serious went platinum and its lead single, "They Want EFX," reached the top ten on the U.S. Billboard R&B chart, the Top 40 on the Billboard.
As their career progressed, however, Das EFX's once-distinctive and unique lyrical delivery became more commonplace as other artists, including a young Jay-Z, imitated it. Derailed by the popularity of their own style, the duo slowed down their fast-paced flow, eliminated the iggedy suffix and downplayed their cartoonish content on their second album, Straight Up Sewaside.
